Description
as it’s belted out by Megan Hilty who plays Galinda in the LA Production of Wicked. I attended a showing last night at the amazing Pantages Theatre here in Hollywood. I haven’t seen Wicked since its original inception 5 1/2 years ago when it first debuted at the Curran Theatre in San Francisco. Since then it went on to debut at Broadway and win numerous Tony awards. I have to admit the production has only gotten better over the years. The lighting especially that goes on with the production is just jaw dropping, with the arrangement of the lights along the stair cases to the emerald city scene where the greens just pop off the stage with vibrancy. The LA Production of the show is ending on January 11 and will be heading back to San Francisco almost 6 years after it debuted. I was able to take my mom to the show and she was thrilled being such a musical fan over the years. It was a great way to start my holiday weekend.
